I HAVE A DATE!!!!!! OMG OMG!!!!!

  Today I met with my surgeon and I have to say I was VERY pleased with him.  He made me feel very comfortable.  I have to say he fell behind because another Dr had an emergency and he had to cover his schedule too, so I spent almost the whole day at the appt. and missed a whole day of work.  That's fine tho because I GOT MY DATE!!!!!  OMG OMG!!! I don;t think it ha**** me yet.  JULY 8, 2010 is my new birth to my new life.  Interesting because it is the day after my first Born's birthday!!!!  So it was special 18 years ago and it is once again!!!  I think I am having a hard time believing that I really am going to have it.  but every one has confirmed it with me.  so look out July 8th here I come... 

I only have a problem now.  My Dr. introduced to me another surgery and it is the Sleeve.  it seems less evasive and somewhat better.  The only problem is that most insurance need you to have a BMI of over 50 and I don't but he said he would try to submit it to my insurance and see what they say.  But I am now confused on which one I should do.

But I am still very excited and can't wait. 

Now I have to figure out my work schedule and time off work.  Do they have to give the time asked without losing  my job?

Congratulations on your getting your date!  How exciting for you.  I also had Dr Jones as my surgeon and I really liked him too.  I will be 3 yrs out on July 26!  Exciting times for you to come.

CONGRATULATIONS....your date is my birthday...it is right around the corner now!!!  Not that I count birthdays anymore...UGH!

Dr Jones was my surgeon...he is very very nice. I had RNY and am very happy I did it. I am 6 months out and enjoying life!

 July 8th is your new Independence Day!  Congratulations!  I remember how excited I was when I got my date too!  You are on your way to something GREAT!
