Ok I meet with my surgeon for the first time tomorrow.  I have read many times on here that there are many questions to ask.  I am aware of many but I know there is a questions that relates to the size of the bypass.  can someone plz tell me what I need to make sure of that the surgeon need to do.(if that makes any sense haha) I thnk it has something to do with distal or proximal.

any advice from any one would be helpful at this time.  I just want to make sure I cover all my boudaries and questions so I have a successful surgery.  I know when we go to the dr office we tend to forget everything we ever wanted ask.  any advice is great!!

I bring a list of questions and leave anough space to write down notes as the Dr. answers the questions.  That way I don't forget to ask something and I can remember what the answer was.I even had a note book when I was in the hospital to jot down questions.

good luck   brenda

Good luck...hope your surgeon visit goes well.

As for questions...write down things you want to know. However, if your surgeon is anything like mine he was so thorough and covered everything so well I didn't have to ask any questions!!
