Finally Broke My Stall!

After several weeks (seemed like forever), I broke the stall that was driving me crazy.  I know it's not all about the scale, and I know "I was losing inches", but in spite of what I know, I look at the scale every week to measure my success.

Finally yesterday (I weigh each Tuesday morning), the scale moved.  And it moved good - 3 pounds worth!  Yahoooooo!

I know this is a journey and I will have ups and downs, but I sure do like the reward of seeing the pounds go down.   I read posts often, but don't always have time to write anymore.  Why?  I have a new job!  I credit that to my weight loss, too.  I felt "dead-ended" in my last job, but got the guts and applied for and received a better job elsewhere.  I started about 3 weeks ago, and it's going well.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

YAY!  Congratulations Mary!  You are doing awesome!

I know I hate it when we stall out...I've been stuck at the same weight for a little while too...

Good for you Mary!!!  I understand stalls and when I am in one I can see the difference in my clothes but not the scale!!  Enjoy your new and I can't wait to see you at coffee sometime soon.  Donna

Good for you Mary!  I know what you mean about the inches thing, but it still frustrates me sometimes!  I bet you did the "Happy Dance" when you dropped the 3!

Congratulations for having the guts to go for the new job and getting it!  I'm so glad you are more content there.

Yep - someone, I think it was Darla, said it's a wild ride.  And I agree.  It's a wonderful wild ride that's bringing me to HEALTH!

WAY TO GO, CHICKIE BABY!    With ALL of it - surviving the stall, the new, better job, and 3 pound!

WOO HOO!!!!

(I cannot take credit for the 'wild ride' comment, tho - I'm but one of many who use it!  And frankly, IT IS WHAT IT IS!)

Yayyyy Mary. Pass on greetings to the sat coffee group. My NP wants me to increase my exercise. I have jogged a few blocks. Last time I tried jogging was more than 2 decades ago. What a difference losing the weight does. Congrats and hugs
