I just recently applied for MinnesotaCare Insurance. I know that I have to pick a Carrier when I am approved. I was wondering if anyone on here from MN can tell me which carrier to pick if you are familiar with this Insurance. I need this surgery so bad just like alot of people. I cant get Health Insurance through my Employer or my Husbands (Not Offered, Small Company). So I had to go through the State MinnesotaCare Reduced Insurance stuff. I need to find out which one to pick that will approve this surgery. Please if you can help me I would appreciate it....Thank You

Some Minnesota Care programs (programs, not plans/carriers) have a $10,000 annual limit on inpatient hospitalization.  For more information check out edocs.dhs.state.mn.us/lfserver/Public/DHS-3860-ENG.  Please note the information on GAMC on page 2 has not been updated with the changes that were effective 6/1/10.

I have a friend who has MN Care, UCare and she just had the r n y done on april 19th, 2010. There is a requirement of 6 months dietician appts with that. I know that Medica used to have a shorter wait of 3 or 4 diet appts, but not for sure on that one.
