Hi Lena0003
They are all good, I have never heard a bad word of any of them. I had Dr Laguna and I can highly recommend him. He is a very personal , friendly and easy going person. Again I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. God luck and like Dan said please feel free to join us at coffee, we always enjoy meeting new people

I had Dr Benn. While he is not a warm fuzzy, at first, he is damned good at what he does! I had an internal bleed during my surgery (I have a tendency to bleed) and lost 1/2 my blood. Dr Benn was on top of it the whole time. He made sure I knew he was there for me 100%. I even saw him on his day off as he came in to help another surgeon. He has done more of these than the other Dr (who have all gotten great reviews) but that is why I chose him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
I agree with Ms Marsha, the drain was nice to see all of the yuck drain out of you. It really wasn't a big deal, and I was afraid it would be.
So there is my 2 cents worth of advice. Good luck to you! This is one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself and my family!

I too had Dr. Benn and highly recommend him!
As far as the drains go, I was told that the drain is the best indicator as to how things are healing inside. If the stuff in your drain is clear and minimal - all is well inside. If you start outputting a larger amount of fluid, or it smells bad or is an off color, they can VERY quickly identify infection - meaning less risk for you as a patient.
While the drains are somewhat uncomfortable and akward, I was glad to have them and found it comforting that Dr. Benn insisted on having them in so we could head any potential problems off at the pass.
Best of luck to you - Feel free to ask if you have any other questions!
