For me it's my flower gardens and veggie gardens......Prior to WLS I couldn't stand to be outside because I sweat like a pig.....I couldn't weed my gardens because it was too hard to bend over, etc.....Now I get so much out of working in the dir****ching my veggies grow and flowers bloom....And of course being able to take a jog or go hiking or biking.....I'm looking so forward to this summer and everything I can do....

What a great question to ask. It frames things so nicely because of the opportunities which have been opened up to us since WLS.
I get down on the floor, on the grass, up the slide, or climb up to the top bunk with my kids without hesitation. That's new for me.
I no longer ask my kids to pick up or fetch something that I was too lazy to do for myself previously. Tying my shoes is all together easier.
So what can I do differently since Sx? I can now do some great things and even the mundane are suddenly great.
Thanks for asking.

I'm still totally tickled everytime I squat down and stand right back up. And painting my toenails is so much easier!
Also I moved this past weekend. My apartment was on the 3d floor of an old house. I ran up and down those stairs probably 100 times over 3 days. It was easy the first 20 or so times a day! (My goodness, two years ago, it would have been so much more difficult. Even when I got tired this time, I never huffed and puffed.)
There are so many things I can do without my belly being in the way!

Oh and I'm happy that I'm not as afraid to stand out anymore. I got a pixie cut (really short hair) a few months ago and last night I bleached my hair platinum blonde. Today I had an appointment with a makeup artist to show me how to do dramatic eyes.
There's no hiding anymore with hair like mine. And I'm happy not to be hiding.
(I'll post a pic soon.)

What an awesome question!
I love that I can get in and out of the boat with ease...I can run after my kids rather then them running for me!....I can play baseball with my kids....I can even run after the ball! lol....play frizbee....
Just the fact that I am active with my kids and my husband rather then just sitting on the side watching them and wishing I could be with them!
I also love the confidence I have in myself!!!!!
