Getting closer!!

Had my second psych appoinment today to go over the MMPI test results.  He said I was pretty boring!  Thats a good thing lol.  I dont have to go in for any more sessions with him and he is going to write his report and send it in.  Now I just have 5 more NUT appointments then I can be scheduled for surgery!  Yikes its becoming more of a reality!

  I am just the opposite. I had 5 visits with the Psych and just one with the NUT. Follow instructions and embrace the change and make it a permanent decision to live this as a new lifestyle.
  It really is a diet and exercise program, but it gets more and more exciting as the changes come and you feel more healthy and alive.
  Keep on contact, you will get some good support here.

Soon you'll be a loser just like us.....

Make sure you hit a coffee get together, you can learn so much from them, plus there fun....

Thank you all for your support!  It really does mean alot.  Today I found out how much friends are supporting me too.  I told a few more that I was going for weight loss surgery.  I expected some negative feedback.  I got the opposite. I cant believe the positive comments I got, its really is amazing and then to come home and see the support here...well it really backs up that this is the right step at the right time for me!
I do plan on getting to a coffee gathering, it will be nice to meet some of the people that have shared so much information. 
I am so appreciative for the OH board and the wonderful people here!

Isn't is exciting to be taking more steps down the road to a new life??  I spoke with my psych today--I have been waiting for my insurance to pay his bill before he would send his report.  They did, so now he said he will send his report on Friday.  Then the package will be ready to submit to insurance for approval, yay!

Wow!!  insurance approval... I cant wait to be that close!  How long once its submitted will it take to get the date?

I came to really believe in fate and karma along the way to my WLS.  The way things fell into place, even the fact that I had almost ALL green lights on my way to all my appointments - yup, you just know when something is meant to be.
