Surgery on Monday (17th)!!

I am excited and nervous!  Actually I  ready for the AFTER surgery part.  I believe I am ready for that mentally and physically for that part.  It is the actual surgery and hospital stay that I am nervous about.  Never really cared for hospitals and actually avoid them when possible. Only hospital stay I have ever had was when I was 9 an broke my leg..wasn't pleasant...   I have read so many things for different posters on what to expect and have done a lot of research, but reading and actually having done to you are two different things.  I am ok with helping other people or being around them with medical things, but not so much when it is being done to me!  Maybe I watch too much TV... or wi**** was more like TV... haha!  

Ok, just typing that out has helped a bit.  Thanks for listening!

I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as you have your surgery on Monday. Your rebirth....how exciting!!

  It'll be over before you know it and you'll be on your way!  Welcome to the wildest ride you'll ever have!   We'll skootch over on the loosers' bench to make room for you!
