Follow up to: I hate eating!

Hi everyone.  I have come back on line to fill you in on my progress.

I did call my doctor's office.  My nutritionist called me yesterday and we talked for a good long time.  She answered all of my frustrations/worries/concerns. 

The verdict is:  Add one more milk in (3 times a day now) and chew very slowly.  Don't try to push bites too close together.  Don't be afraid of that.  Anxiety will only make my stomach more susceptible to vomiting.  Have "go to" foods because it is unrealistic that I will make a big meal every day and right now some leftovers really don't sit well.  Continue to balance out my meals with veggies.  Chew.  Chew. Chew.  The longer it can stay in my mouth the better it will sit in the pouch.

So.  There you have it!  Hope this info encourages others.

And don't be afraid to call your doc's office and whine.   They want to help and support you!

I am so happy to hear that you followed up.  Fantastic!  Everyone is different so,  you need to slow down and figure out what is right for you.   Good luck!
