The Flu? Questions

Man, do I feel sick!  I had a glass of wine last night, sipped slowly,  had lots of water during and after.  Felt fine.  Had a bit of a headache this morning.  Had my Protein shake, no problem.  Took 2 Tramadol as my legs were a bit sore from walking yesterday.  Took 2 yr old to Ear Dr and started to wonder if I was going to throw up right there and then.  Now my headache hurts to the point of my teeth hurt.  I can't look even water without feeling sick and still fighting the vomit feeling.  I think I have the flu!?

I have Zofran I could try to help with the nausea.  Should I try taking that?  I'm not sure I can keep it down though.

Any ideas anyone.  I'm miserable! 

I think you should call a doctor before you take any more meds? Did your doctor okay you taking the Tramadol?
One glass of wine puts me down right away.. and I'm a year out...

My guess is it's the wine, not the flu since you're not even 6 months out.  My doc said NO alcohol in any form for 12 months after surgery.  I wouldn't suggest any more meds without talking to your clinic.

 I called the nurse line and left a message.  I sipped it slowly over 2 hours and I felt fine.  I've had it before a couple of times and felt fine the next day.

Yes, they are the ones who prescribed Tramadol to me.  It helps with my Arthritis.

I feel so bad I can't even sit still.  I'm just pacing.  My 2 yr old age peanut butter for lunch............ ugh, the smell.................. ack!

I did talk to the nurse yesterday.  She said it sounded like a bug.

I'm still sick today, a bit better, am getting chicken broth and water down, but have had a fever and headache still.  Still just feel yucky.  I hope tomorrow is better.
