No - still waiting. That date had been postponed. I don't know when I will be having it, yet. I met with Dr. Rupp again today. A better feeling after talking to him about these concerns today. I finally got his approval for surgery. The next step is to wait for the insurance to approve and then we finally schedule the surgery. Sounds like it will be in 4 - 6 weeks. Thanks for your input. After reading what you said, I do feel a bit humbled. We all know how anxious we are to get to our surgery and start our new lives. But, it has been a learning process and it has prepared me to better handle challenges and frustrations.

I started this process with St. Paul Surgeons, and felt like the office staff wasn't helping me like they should because it is all very overwhelming at first. I am now going through St. Joseph's, and they are the absolute BEST !!!! I am hoping to have surgery in August/September after the 6 month period. I never did meet Dr. Rupp, but he was the surgeon that I chose.
