A little personal, but here we go...

I have started getting in the last month or so areas of
"fungal" stuff.  Under boob (sorry guys), belly button, under tummy.  Not all at once, just a patch or two that I have treated with Lotrimin cream.  (LOL jock itch cream under my boob and in my belly button!)  Is there anyone else dealing with this and is it maybe because I eased back on eating yogurt?

I have started wearing a bra to bed to keep the girls lifted, but it is so uncomfortable!

How can I prevent these things??

I have no answer, but go to your Doctor and get it documented that you are having issues....If you ever want plastics done then you can show you were having issues with rash stuff......

Good luck, Kelly

Sorry to say this happens because of the loose skin. It is fairly common.
Kelly is right....get it documented.
I keep baby powder w/cornstarch in those areas and I don't have that problem now.

Yes, like Kelly said, go to your doctor so you can get it documented & so you can get some prescription strength lotion to apply to these areas (I was given this when I got a 'yeast infection' type of thing in my belly button shortly after surgery).  So definitely see your doc!

They  have me on 15 wks of oral Diflucan.  I was getting yeast infections (ya know the good old fashioned girl kind) and some in my leg creases and under the girls.  It has helped.  I took a pill a day every other days for 4 doses and now 1 a week  for 14 weeks and it's really helped.

Yogurt is good and so is Acidiphilos (sp)  Also have it documented!  Hope this helps.

My doctor specializes in sports medicine and his three sons are all atheletes...he has them use Selson Blue...yeah, the soap.  It's anti-fugal and helps clear up athletes feet, rashes, the skin on skin rashes.  and it's cheaper and less hastel than oinments and creams.

I use Gold Bond Medicated powder (green), especially during the summer.  The tingling means its working.

I use cornstarch as baby powder seems to irritate it. Get it documented as well like others have said...which is what I also need to start doing!

Sorry it has taken this long to comment, but I wanted to say thank you to all who gave me the advice.  What would we all do without this OH board, huh?
