Is there a Moorhead or Fargo, ND Coffee group??

I always see people posting about coffee meetings in towns near the Cities but not near Moorhead, MN or even Fargo, ND. Are there any coffee groups that meet in either of these towns? Anyone want to start one?

I could really use some support...and coffee...as I seem to have the same problems alot are at 2 or even 3 yrs. out with slowly gaining some weight or not fitting into last summers clothes as hoped or planned.

Hi,  I think one of those groups would be a great idea in the area too.  I read about those in the cities like you mentioned and wondered the same thing about a local one.  I would love to be able to join one of them too.  Only thing is that I haven't had the surgery yet and am waiting on ins. approval right now and have surgery penciled in for May sometime, but still think it would be a good thing.

Do you live in Moorhead or nearby? I think now is a great time to join such a group actually. You'll get to listen to those that have already been thru the process. It totally helped me. I was on this site for months while in the process and it helped a lot. Plus, You'll have access to those that can answer soooo many of the questions you will have.

Let's see if we can't get a few more interested people, at any stage of the process.

I am about 40-45 miles away, but go to Moorhead all the time so that isn't a problem for me.  Would just be a matter of timing of the group that I would have to work around with my job.  But I think it would be a great idea either way!

That is what I love about this website...all the information people are willing to share with their experiences.  I don't post much on here, but I am always looking things up.

I know we have talked about this in the past and I would so love to meet up with others and spead our knowledge and love.

Kelly, do you go to the MeritCare support group in Fargo? When is that?

Yes, I go to the Meritcare AND the Innovis support groups.

Meritcare- May 25, @ 630-730 Broadway in Auditorium

Innovis- May 17th @ 6p-730 p At Hospital on 32nd, lowest level in conference room across from water fountain.

Anyone can go to either or both meetings

I can do most evenings or weekends.  I normally bartend Tuesday nights, but will be taking a short break from that after the surgery.  And think it would be great to meet other people.

I didn't realize Meritcare had a meeting at 6:30 at night....I was begining to wonder why all the support groups were always so early or during the day when most people work.  Haven't won the lottery yet. : )
