Help for Support Group Facilitators
Ok, so I've been doing some help with my surgeons support group stuff... trying to help facilitate for the guys-only group. whee.
Anyways, since I'm coming up with all sorts of reference stuff I figured I would share it with others that might need stuff for support group meetings (as well as anyone interested in the info in general I guess)... so I started a blog site over at ourwls.com for the express purpose of doing so.

Alcohol can lead to nutritional compromise – blocking the absorption of many vitamins and minerals. Vitamin A, Thiamine (vitamin B1), folic acid, and Vitamin C are a few deficiencies that can occur. Gastric bypass surgery also increases the risk of nutritional deficiencies by blocking absorption of certain vitamins and dietary components. Persistent lack of these important dietary components can lead to impaired health and diseases.
