Finally some answers!
Thank you all for your good thoughts and well wishes.
I'm still waiting to see if my drug will be approved. According to Medica, they never received my paperwork requestions prior authorization yesterday, so the clinic was nice enough to resend all the paperwork. Hopefully I will get a response by Monday. I now have to go pay another $35 just to make it through the weekend.
Right now, to get rid of the pain/nausea, I am willing to pay a little out of pocket to get some relief!
Thanks again everyone!

I feel so bad for you. I had the same problem 1 year out.
I got scoped and they found the problem. I take omeprazole 20 mg, and no more pain.
I have BC BC and my copay is only $ 10. There is a lot of different meds out there so work with your doctor and find something that works for you and is covered by your insurance. Don't buy meds from India or other places. That is just to scary. Just my .02 cent.

Ask for a different medicine!
I've had 2 ulcers since my first WLS. The first one healed after a couple of weeks. The second one didn't heal. I had to have a revision of my RNY last August.
An ulcer is nothing to mess with. I went through hell for months. Did they give you nausea meds? I had a LOT of nausea with my ulcers.

Please spay and neuter your pets!
Yes, I got the meds approved, so I don't have to pay anything, and they reimbursed me for the first round.
As for getting better, it's slow but there is progress. I am still having IV therapy because on my good days now I'm only up to 40 ounces of fluid. That is all I can force in without feeling nauseous. They put my second PICC in today, the home care nurses were slowly pulling the other one out. I have three more weeks of IV therapy ordered for now, but I'm starting to feel better overall.
I am looking forward to actually start losing weight again instead of being on the weight rollercoaster right now. IV therapy - gain 3-5 lbs, wait a day, lose 2-3 of that, then repeat.
Thanks for asking though!
