Kidney Stones - low sugars - dehydration
OK - venting again.
Woke up yesterday with the worst pain ever! In my right lower back by the kidney, figured it was an infection. Spent the morning at my doctor, who ran all the tests, said I have crytal deposits in my urine, figures it is a stone. Sent me to Woodwinds for a CT Scan - no stone seen. Still in pain, not sure if it is a stone hiding or what - he did give me pain meds for it.
My sugars were 88 yesterday and he said I am not getting enough liquids in. UGH - this is hurts worse than when I had surgery!!
Set my computer to send me reminders to sip, sip, sip. Hope to improve on that, food goes pretty darn good, just not so good on getting in the liquids in.
Hope this is not an indication that I will have these all the time.

My bariatric doctor said I was diabetic - 2 months before surgery, but it was controlled by eating. Never monitored it or anything, and never had a problem with Kidney stones ever before.
The pain is still here - 2 days later. It is not as intense, but still there. The CT scan showed nothing - and my doc said that internally, I am healing well from the surgery. Nothing wrong with the ovaries - so not really sure what this is. Just know it is not fun, but it is also not stopping me. I am drinking more, managed 50 ounces yesterday, my average has been only 30. I know that is a huge issue, and I am working it. Really hard when I am at work and get wrapped up in working and just totally forget to drink anything. Still getting my 1 to 2 miles of walking in too, just a bit slower.
Thanks
Kelly
