Wake up! Its a new season!
What a wake up call I got when I dug out my summer clothes. I knew I had been putting a weight over the winter months (combination of too many carbs and not enough physical activity caused a 15 pound gain over my lowest weight). Now my summer clothes are either too tight to feel comfortable in or they don't fit at all. I refuse to buy bigger sizes. I know the "honeymoon" is over and I need to work at keeping the weight off (not to mention losing 10 pounds again so my clothes fit). Does anyone out there have any ideas on what our normal portion sizes should be for protein, vegetables, dairy? Do I go back to the old fashioned notion of calorie counting or should I be concentrating still on grams of protein? I just don't know if I should be eating 1 cup of food per meal or more and how that should proportion out in terms of protein, vegetables, etc? Does anyone know the guidelines?

Calories in calories out......
Good luck, Kelly

Your post sounds like me...I will be naked this summer!!
I am counting my protein ..I am to have at least 80 grams per day.
I am cutting back to 1 cup of food per meal....little by little I was increasing that amount and doing too much grazing (carbs) over the winter. Protein first then some veggies or fruit.
I am glad summer is here so I am walking again too.
I have also posted my before and also my lowest weight pics around my house....MOTIVATION!!
Good luck...WE can do it!!

If the boat gets any bigger (cuz a lot of us are "in the same boat") it'll be a cruise ship!
I'd suggest going to WLS Graduates forum and asking the same question. There might be some pro's over there that could help.

2014 update...regained but haven't lost faith.
Oh and one more thing....I wore pants to work one day that were too tight, because I wasn't going to buy a larger size, and I had to go home because I thought my head would explore by mid morning! What a relief it was to take those bad girls off!!
