Brachioplasty surgery recovery day 4
I had brachioplasty surgery on Wednesday the 14th. I am doing ok. Still very sort and uncomfortable. Mostly, I am uncomfortable because of the stupid drains, which are located right at my elbow! Dumb spot, they suck. I get them out tomorrow and once they are out, I am sure I will feel a lot better.
Surgery went well. Took a little longer than they thought it would. Surgery took a little over 3 hours total and then spend 2 hours in recovery because apparently, I didn't want to wake up...I kept telling them I was tired...didn't sleep too well the night before.
Got to take a shower for the fisrt time yesterday, felt awesome. I didn't take the wraps off, but I did the best I could. My husband has been really helping me out, but I am still able to do a lot. I have been taking it easy though. I have been staying inside however becuase these drains are kind of gross and not easy to hide. I have been going outside on the deck though. Been tough with a 3 year old, not beling able to do as much wiht her, but that is getting better too. I was able to make her chocolate milk so she was happy!
Haven't seen my arms yet, but I can already tell there is a huge difference. Ok arms are tired from typing, time for some vicodin and a nap.
