This darn dry mouth!
If it was thrush, wouldn't I have white patches on my tongue? I don't know much about it, but I have heard that those white patches are a tell tale sign. I don't have any of those. The "sweater" thing is just on the backsides of my teeth...luckily my tongue doesn't feel like that. My mouth just gets so dry!
I'm 3 months out and mine hasn't gone away yet, but it's not as bad. It actually reminds me to keep drinking my water. We have really "hard" water here and I think that makes it worse.
Both my boys as infants had thrush and it was very obvious looking in their mouths, it doesn't mean it's not possible, but I think you'd see it.
Let us know what they say.

I had the same thing; I thought my teeth were really dirty or something on the back sides of my teeth both on the top & bottom. I'd brush & brush (thinking it was plaque), but came to found out drinking more made it better. And the farther out I got the better it got. I don't experience it anymore & I'm almost 5 months out (and haven't experienced for awhile now).
So, just know that it will go away & that you're not alone.
