For activity tonight I plan to head over to Lifetime.  Not sure if I'll be using the treadmill or ellipitical yet, but I'll definitely do about 30-40 min. on one of those & then about 20-30 min. on machines & free weights (to help firm up this saggy skin, LoL!).

So, how will you get movin' & shakin' today?

After I write this, I'm going down to the home gym to work out and then hop on the treadmill and walk/jog 2 miles.....

I have a new drive, a new focus since group last night.....I hope it lasts.....Heck what is 15 pounds to lose? I remember when I wanted to lose 90. I'm tired of being disgusted with my weight gain, I just need to bite the bullet and do it, just do it.......

I feel so upbeat today......Have a great day....

Kelly

edit- I worked out on the home gym and went for 30 minutes on the treadmill and did 15 sit ups.
Edit- I went on the treadmill again for 30 min.

Those 15 lbs. don't stand a chance with your positive attitude; they'll be gone before you know it!

I will be heading to the Y to work out again.   Rode 5.5 miles on the bike last night over 45 mins.  It felt great too!  Gotta get my 3 yr old to work through these seperation issues though.   She cried 30 of the 45 mins we left her in the childcare.   Soooo heartbreaking but I need the exercise and time away soooo badly.

WOW, you got in a GREAT workout yesterday, Congrats!!

As hard as it is on both you & her, in the end it's also helpful for both of you too.  You need the time to focus on you & getting in some activity (and alone time) and she needs to have some 'mommy free' time too.  How many times has she gone?  I know a lot of kids have a hard time in the beginning, especially at that tough age where they don't want to part with their parents.  Hopefully she'll come to find some other kids she likes playing with or some staff she really likes to make the transition to hanging out in there easier for both of you!

I agree totally.   We will keep going and she'll work through it.   She's only been in the childcare like 4 times now I think.   The first time she was sad but didn't cry.   We also have left the incentive that if we have a good week then on Friday night we'll all spend the time together in the swimming pool.   I have a hard time turning around and leaving but once she's out of earshot I am fine.   I know I need both the time away and the exercise.  I have to drag myself there each time but once I'm there I really do enjoy it.   I brought a magazine yesterday and man the time just flew by.    I've been doing the bike ride for 45 mins the last few times we've gone and it feels great.   Now I'm thinking it's time to add in some variety of machines.   There's so many options there it's wonderful!   Thankfully my husband's insurance will reiumburse us $20 per adult that goes at least 12 times a mont so it makes it affordable.   Family membership is $65 per month.
