How Old is too Old?
The surgeon won't be the one holding your hand anyhow...lucky if they're even in the OR when you go under. Usually there is a team and someone else opens & closes (maybe it is different with a lap procedure, though).
I had a vision of how it would be on surgery day and that my sweet little surgeon would be smiling at me the whole time from behind his scrubs and that wasn't the case at all. Just don't want you to be disappointed.
