One Year Surgery Anniversary

What a roller coaster ride this has been. I remember when I was given April Fool's Day as my surgery date and thinking "you have got to be kidding me!". I had a rough start mentally...buyers remorse, etc...., but no complications. As each month passed, it got better and better. The WOW moments are too numerous to name, and they're still occuring everyday. I never thought I'd say it, but it's true...I wish I had done this sooner. My biggest A-ha moment (have no idea how you spell that) was when I was at Target recently and bought a 40 lb. bag of dog food. I could barely lift it and I carried more than 3 of them on my body for years !! Amazing.
