I have to remember that as much as I think I know, it's just a drop in the bucket.  I can always learn more, practice more, open my mind to things I haven't considered before.  And I can let go of the old tapes that were so toxic to me before.  Every time I reach for something out of stress, I have to remind myself - that's not ME anymore.  I don't need it, it won't help me reach my goal.

What do YOU have to do to be healthy?

 So true, so true!

For me to continue being healthy & feeling this fantastic is knowing that I don't have to be confined to staying indoors. With this gorgeous MN weather we're having, I have literally thought "oh, it looks so nice out" and then I remember, I'm not MO anymore, so I can get out there and go for a walk or play ball with the kiddos or jog around the block if I want to. It's not painful anymore and I can still breathe when I'm done. But it's like I have to constantly remind myself.

It's also being 1 pound away from goal and not being tempted to REWARD with food. Dang that is hard..."when I get to goal, I can have a piece of chocolate cake" - that's an old toxic tape for me. Always reward the effort with food. Instead, I grabbed the Community Ed catalog and I circled a couple of classes I'd like to take. 2 are exercise related and 1 is on photography, which is a hobby for me.

Like you said, it's just opening my mind to more.

I have to let go of the "I made it!" thoughts and start embracing the idea that this is just the beginning of a long journey.   It's far too easy to fall off track as I get nearer to goal.  I also have to re-embrace the exercise idea.  The lack of muscle tone is becoming more obvious as I wobble towards goal, and I know I need muscle mass to keep burning the calories.

Now, for you two, a big hearty "Congrats!" on being so close to your goals.  We will get there!!
