Where can I get a compression garment in the cities?
Hi all! My surgery was on March 4th. I am wearing the compression garment that I got at the hospital, but it's getting ratty...and TOO BIG! Does anyone know if there is there anywhere in the Twin Cities that carries them? It's the kind that's just basically just a wrap around my torso and has velco to close.
ALSO, I am wondering if anyone has any experience regarding some of the body slimmers out there...I heard that they work well as a type of compression garment after the first month or two. I am thinking of things like Yummie Tummie, Spanx, Kymaro, etc.
Thanks!
Leah

I call it shrink wrap, LOL......I got mine at Walmart for $14....It looks like a tank top in beige. It holds everything in.....
Not sure on the compression garmet, maybe call the hospital and ask them?

Hi - my question is why do you still have to wear a compression garment? The only time I wore one for more than a couple weeks was after plastic surgery - to keep the swelling down. I would think if it's getting too big...it's time to toss it and go without.

It's HILARIOUS that you said that...cause I LOVELOVELOVE duct tape! My friends make fun of me because I keep a roll of it at my desk at work....with my name written on the side so noone can steal it! Also, couple of years ago I even made my halloween costume out of duct tape...and duct tape alone. I was like a duct-tape super hero, lol.
