I don't post that often, but I'm trying to get as much accountability out there as I can so I really meet this goal of mine.

My goal is called "40 by 40" which means I want to lose 40 lbs by the time I turn 40 (10/11).

For those that don't know me, I had surgery almost three years ago. Started at 332, got down to 209 and have bounced back to 237. I never met my goal of losing half my body weight, but I've readjusted my goal to just getting back into ONEderland. I haven't seen a one as the first number of my weight since I was a freshman in college and really would like to reach that goal. Since I'm starting now, it means I have to lose about 6lbs a month - which is totally doable!

I'm taking charge of my tool again and going to make it work for me. I know I can do this because I tried for two weeks last fall and lost 8lbs. This time I just need to make it last longer. I am surrounded by fantastic friends and will continue to use them and all of you to find strength to reach this goal!

Thanks for listening and good luck to anyone out there striving for their goals, especially those of you more than a year out. It truly does get MUCH harder the farther out you get from surgery.

The pics below are my before (my heaviest) and my after (3lbs shy of my lowest)

I have no doubt that you can take charge and do it! You put so much care in taking care of your fur baby..... if you put that same type of care into yourself, you will rock your tool! I can't wait to see your skinny self when I come back! You can do this!!

Tracy,

I am right there with you! I want to get to 200 lbs by my 2 year anniversary in August. I have changed up my exercise and am committing to get this last bit of weight off. 30 lbs for me. Love to walk with you anytime! I know you can do it!

I am just coming up on a month out and already i am getting the message that each choice I make reflect in the results. In a way it is a battle of the immediate vs the long term. I want just a "little more" food satisfaction today,,,yet I want the long term health and lifestyle for my future.

YOU CAN DO IT, SISTAH!!!

We're all in it to win it - and not in a minute.  This deal is for a lifetime, and every morning we wake up, we have the opportunity to ROCK IT all over again!

Hey there hon so glad to see your post!  I too am having issues with accontability and losing re-gained weight.  I would like to lose my re-gained weight by the time my sister and nephews come to visit later in July.

I think your goal is WONDERFUL and I KNOW you will SUCCEED!

Hopefully we can talk more online since I am far too far away to make coffee or support groups!

Hugs!
