Surgery tomorrow!!!!
Strangely enough - I am quite calm. I am sure I will not be this way later tonight and tomorrow morning as I make my way to the hospital, but know this is the BEST thing for ME and looking forward to it.
Please keep me in your prayers and I will post when I make it home Wednesday, as I have no angel here yet.
Kelly
Good luck Kelly. I'm sure that your surgery will go well. I too was calm until the night before my surgery when I wrote letters to my children(8,6) explaining why I took the risk of surgery, and what they meant to me. From that point on I was an emotional wreck. I cried all the way to the OR! The way I look at it, if you do start getting emotional, it's because you realize what this surgery can do for you, and it's normal. Surgery is a big step and bottling up your nervous feelings won't help. So let it out!!
I'll be thinking positive thoughts for you tomorrow, and I can't wait to see your post on Wednesday saying how easy it was!!
Best wishes,
