You May Want to Avert Your Eyes

You may want to avert or shield your eyes when viewing the picture below.....the bike jacket I have on can probably be seen from outer space. I have been wearing this get-up most of the week to commute 5 miles from home to the train station in the rain. I know I look ridiculous, but I stay dry, warm, and as visible as possible on the road. The reason I posted this is that every day I can ride my bike is a personal victory over obesity. That is true no matter the weather, traffic or how silly I look. No wonder I am smiling.

My 2 yr old was here with me as I opened this up and he said "WOW, Mommy look at dat!" He loves it!

I applaud your devotion and your sensibility to wear a visible outfit. Too many bikers around here are all in black and seem to be begging to be picked off!
