Burning pain in pouch and intestines - bad back pain - called surgeon

Anyone else ever have this problem?

I have had this problem once in a great while since surgery but today it is constant.  It started last Friday and has gotten progressively worse.

My pouch feels like it's on fire - even when I tried to drink my protein shake this morning it burned. 

My guts feel like they are on fire and my back has been sore for two days..

I called my surgeons office - but they are HORRIBLE about getting back to you in a timely manner... I will call them again at 2 if I haven't heard back.

Sheesh - anyone else have this problem?  I hurt so bad :(

I would't mess with it, go in and have the professionals check it out.

Be a pest and keep calling them.....This doesn't sound nornal.....Get into the doctor....

Hi Everyone!

Well it sounds like I've got an ulcer so we are treating it as one... I have two new pills to take 3 times a day - WHOOOPIE!  But if it helps, then hey it's worth it.

Thanks for all the well wishes.  I was pretty scared!!!

I'm glad you have a course of action, even if that course of action requires more pills.  I hope it alleviates the discomfort you've been feeling real soon!
