I forgot to check the mail on Sat and so I went to check it at like 7:30 this morrin and there was my letter from Medica! I am APPROVED!
WOW.....the insurance got the request on March 2nd and here I got the letter on Sat. WOW talk about fast!
So it is looking around right after Easter!
any tips on liquid diet would be awsome! I have Bariatric Advantage already....
Dr. Glass and his office (Kristen) they ROCK!!!

I am on day 8 of the liquid diet, I can only say, make sure to get your protein drink in! It really does make all the difference in how you do!
I am using the EAS Myoplex ones, they are pretty good. These were the first I tried, so I am just sticking with them. I am easy to please though.......lol

Sugar free popscicles helped me, since I'm a sugar-aholic......Plus it counts towards your water intake.....
We do meet for coffee in St. Cloud once in awhile at Caribou outside of Crossroads.....It's good support and alot of giggles.....You should come sometime...

Congrats on your approval!! Get ready for the ride of your life!! You are right, Dr Glass and Kristen are fabulous!!!
Liquid diet for me was not so bad after the 3rd day. Seemed like once I got used to it, I just focused on the prize and dealt with it.
I really did enjoy the broth. There is this stuff you can get that is like a soup base that is really good. I don't remember the name but you get it at the store by the bouilion (sp). Also, jello and sf pop cycles saved my butt too.
I just looked at it as 2 short weeks, it does pass and it gets tons better as you are growing into a healthier person!!
Coffees on Saturdays. usually every other saturday, so we are actually due this weekend.... You are welcome to join us. Would be awesome to meet you and get to know you. The support in your beginning stages is so important....
Someone will most likely post about the coffee later in the week, so look for it if you will be able to join us!!
