Nicole (NBarabash) has joined the losers bench!!!

I just heard from Nicole's husband & she is out of surgery!  Her surgery went well & they were able to do everything laproscopically.  No complications at all & she'll be moved up to her room in a couple hours! 

I plan to stop by after work tonight (around 6pm) if she's feeling up for visitors & I can update you all with more details then (like room number & how everything went).

I'm soooo happy for you Nicole that your surgery went well & you are now on the road to recovery!    I'm scootin' over as we speak to make room for you on the losers bench! 

I am glad to hear it all went great.  Send her my wishes, and can't wait to hear from her.

My tiny little ass is moved over!!!!  The bench has just recieved another awesome person!!!!  Way to go!!!!  This journey is soo worth every minute of every day!!!!  Nicole G and T-rex will visit tonight as well.  Hope to see that smile!!!!!!!!

I stopped up at the hospital & visited with Nicole after work today & she's doing pretty good.  She's sore (which is to be expected) but she's in really good spirits & she's looking forward to getting up & moving around tomorrow (and actually a little bit tonight) & returning home on Saturday to recover there.  She's enjoying her ice chips tonight along with some warm blankets on her stomach to help with the pain. 

I plan to swing by & visit with her tomorrow when I get off work to see how she's doing tomorrow after having a whole day post-op.  I'll pass on all your well wishes & I'm sure she'll be logging on real soon to read all your messages. 

Glad to hear her surgery went well - and may I say, you all sound so caring and nice!  I hope to make it to the Eagan coffee tomorrow and meet some of you.  I am on day 4 of my liquid diet with my surgery coming on 3/16, and would love to talk with others that know what I am going through. 

I cannot wait to join you all in the journey!

Thank you all for your warm wishes, and for moving over to make room for me on the loser's bench.  My Upper GI test went well this morning, although it took two doses of anti-nausea med afterwards to feel somewhat normal.

They've taken  away the pain pump and the catheter, so I'm feeling morel like normal. 

Thank you for all my visitors yesterday, even if I was a little loopy, I really appreciated it..

I can't wait to see all of you next week at coffee!
