Vanilla protein shake w/ 2% milk
dozen cashews
turkey, tomato, sunflower seed salad w/ regular ranch dressing
slice of roast beef w/ mustard
another dozen cashews
syntrax nectar shake
I think sometimes I don't eat enough, but last week the girl scout cookies did me in! Thank God they are gone. Hubby bought a LARGE container of mixed nuts at the Costco last night, so they are calling my name today! I got them off the counter and at least shoved them in a cupboard.

Breakfast-
1 1/2 deli rounds with peanut butter (the top & 1/2 the bottom)
Lunch-
Candian bacon sliced up on top of cheese on top of pieces of melba toast & pudding
Dinner-
Extra lean ground turkey meatball with cream of mushroom soup, small amounts of mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, & prunes.
I can tell my "time of the month" is coming anyday since that is when I tend to be "more hungry" each month. Usually I'm full with barely any food, but this one time of the month is when I usually feel like I'm more hungry than normal. I'm just trying to make sure I don't eat much more than I normally would & instead try to drink more (I'm also really thirsty during this time too). It only lasts a few days-a week each month, so I can struggle through it.

I have only eaten one Samoa this year - period. If I ate more, my family would go postal on me! (Not to scold me, but for eating THEIR COOKIES!!!!)
I'm not really into logging my meals publicly, but I do want to share a FANTABULOUS SNACK I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday!!
Lightly salted frozen edamame from Trader Joes! A friend of mine (shout out to Tracy!!) ordered this at Benihana a month ago, and I thought - well, THAT'S wierd! But I tried one then and didn't gag, so when I was at TJ's, I bought a bag. And promptly forgot I had 'em.
Yesterday afternoon, I knew I wouldn't be eating dinner on time, so I decided I should have a snack. A HEALTHY snack. I've gotten rid of everything at work that isn't protein-based, so I remembered the edamame in the freezer. I put a handful in a coffee mug, nuked 'em for about a minute 45 seconds, and took them to my desk.
Let's just say, I found a new favorite guilt-free snack!

B- Protein shake with SF Vanilla and Choc Silk Lite
S- 4 med Shrimp
L - Chicken Veg Soup
D- Chicken Veg Soup
Lots of water today and managed to get down 2 Calcium Wafers without much tummy upset - that is a first.
Have not tried even a bite of anything with suger (cookies, cake etc) I haven't craved it, which is a miracle and I'm not sure if I want to find out that I dump (which I think I will) or more afraid that I WON'T dump! Ya know?
I'm pretty sure I'm low on protein today and vow to do a better job tomorrow.
I like seeing what other people eat - I like to find ideas of foods to have!
