Calcium Citrate - "wafers" my butt!

Got the Calcium Citrate (hockey pucks) I mean "wafers" a couple of weeks ago.

Now forgive me if I am wrong, but doesn't the word "wafer" make you picture a thin disk you pop into your mouth and barely know it was there?  Holy crap these are HUGE!

Anyway, cutting to the chase now...... they make my stomach really upset.  Anyone else have this problem?  I've tried with food and without and it upsets my poor little pouch.  Will this perhaps go away if I tough it out?  Or did I foolishly buy 5 bottles of "wafers" that I can't eat?

Anyone............

Thanks guys!

I don't mind the chewables.  I have chew them right after a meal and have never had a problem.  Actually kinda yummy.  Sorry, not much help.

Yeah, the term "wafer" is rather misleading...

I've tried all kinds of calcium - citrate is supposed to be the best, but the TASTIEST ones (imho) are Viactive.  NOT citrate.  Still, my wonderful "old" bariatric nurse always said - any form of calcium is better than not taking any!  So I do a variety.  Some wafers, some chewables, some gummies, some Viactive, and some horse pills.

The deal is, you don't have to like them, you just have to TAKE them.

As for the stomach upset, perhaps you can return the bottles you haven't opened?  If not, perhaps someone here would be willing to buy them from you, just post the details (brand, flavor, price, yada yada yada...).
