The steamed shrimp and veggies sound delicious....

I think working out in the morning before work sounds good, that way it's done, and you won't feel quilty for not going after work when your tired and just want to go home....

Just recently I started working out again, I go on the treadmill/homegym 6 days a week, I take Sundays off.....

I'm just a little over 2 years out and gained 15 pounds back from the 90 pounds I had lost....Last year was a hard year for me, and instead of working on me I was working on my marriage....Well now that everything is good there I'm working on me again.....You sure can get off track fast......I'm so angry with myself that I got into bad habits again and stopped exercising.....But only I can fix it....So here I am posting the exercise thread, it keeps me accountable and makes me feel better about myself.....I may not be doing the 2 hour workout like some people, but at least I'm moving....

Dear Kelly:

You are evil...

Every day I log in and see your "Moving " posts and I think to myself; "Self...  are you going to exercise today?...  and if not... why not?"

So far I have been able to blame it on my swollen knee but now I have Trammadol for it...  What excuse shall I use now? 

OK...  I will walk today on my treadmill for 30 minutes...  UGH!  the inertia...  

Seriously though, Kelly...  thanks for the  daily posts.  I made myself a Lenten promise that I would move daily...  I have been unsuccessful so far but today shall be different.  :-)

Darn you and my conscience!!  ;-)

Me Evil? Maybe..... LOL....

Yep, I made a promise to myself for lent and my Daughter in heaven that I would get back to exercise, and I will keep that promise......

I had quit exercising for the most part, and got way off track eating too, due to a lot of issues last year....Those are 99% better, so now I'm back taking care of ME.....I'm going to lose these 15 pounds I gained......

We used to do these posts all the time, but then they quit....It does help me, makes me feel accountable to work out......

Great job to get on the treadmill, I don't think it will hurt your knee, it may even make the muscles around it stronger......No excuses....:)

I work out every night after work..

I get home, let the dog out, feed her and usually feed myself, then pop in the dvd and either do power yoga, pilates, or a cardio video. Then I follow up with my protein shake post work out
(I have been treating my post workout shake as a dessert... )

Went to the gym did 45 min on the arc and 60 min of strength training.

Breakfast.....scrambled egg and strawberries


lunch.......crab salad on crackers

Dinner....... walleye asparigus and quinoa
 

snack.......milk
