Scale withdrawal!

I am having a major scale withdrawal over here. Every day I wish I could weigh myself. It was never an obsession for me and never got me down if my weight fluctuated even 5lbs... it was just a routine way to keep myself in check. Now I don't have that.... at least until I get an apartment over here (which is still a few days away). It's find of weird not knowing my weight.

I don't know if all this walking is helping me to lose some pounds... on the other hand, my eating is kind of weird right now so many I'm just staying steady. Either way... it's kind of weird not have my Weigh****chers meetings to weigh in at and not being able to weigh in at home!

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

All part of your new adventure, Elena!   I hope you are doing well.  It has to be different not to have everything you are used to right at hand.
Take care and just think - you have broken your scale obsession!

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

It's a good thing, not being able to be obessed with a scale!  You know that.  Without it, you really need to just work your tool, and trust that it's working for you.

I hope you're getting acclimated over there - be sure to let me know when you figure out what you're missing!  (But don't ask me to send you no steenking scale, I REFUSE!)

You want us to mail you one in your first care package?  Shouldn't be a problem and you could just leave it there.  I'm guessing someone has one though.

It's probably a good thing to get used to not having the scale - not that I can do it! Pay attention to how your clothes are fitting - that's always a good clue. I would think all the walking would be a great help though. How are you and the band and Korean food doing? Hope all is going down ok!

I think you'll be surprised when you do hop on a scale over there...you'll probably be walking a lot more than over here...we love our cars!  Enjoy every minute!  I travelled and worked o/seas for my entire 20's and it was the best thing ever!
