OT: looking for a dentist and a pcp
hi everyone, I recently moved to Minneapolis. I live on the north side of Nicollett Island (by Riverplace). I just had my first fill with new Dr. Daniel Leslie. Not sure about going back again and am open to other suggestions. Or should I hang in there? Will things get better? He was VERY rushed and I felt talked down too a bit. Also the office itself seemed VERY unorganized. I had to tell the nurse how to look up info on the computer!!? They seemed quite *frazzled*. Would really appreciate anyone elses experience and hopefully it will be okay.
And I need a suggestion for a GOOD PCP and dentist too. Preferably as close to my home as possible. Thank you for any and all help! Dyanna

I'm geographically challenged and have no idea where you live is in relation to any other area LOL
BUT
if you are anywhere near Maple Grove, I highly recommend Dr. Carlson at the Park Nicollet clinic - he's wonderful!!
I have no idea about fills 'n such so can't help you with a surgeon suggestion....sorry you had a harried experience though!
I use a dentist in Hopkins currently but am looking to change too - so no suggest there!
GOOD LUCK!

I have Dr. Leslie. I say give him more time. The office unorganized? Yeah, I can see that....but you will find that in a lot of offices if you look for it. I don't like the hoops I have to go through to see him, but I've been seeing him for two years and have developed a great relationship.
As far as a dentist? I see Dr. Johnson in Brooklyn Park. LOVE him. He is also in the same building as my PCP so it's a win win.
