What do you take for inflamation?
I am having problems with an inflamed shoulder and hip. I thought working out was supposed to get easier LOL! I try taking Tylenol, but it just doesn't cut it. I was told we can take an NSID every once in awhile for 2 days to cut the inflamation, but I just did it last week for my shoulder and now my hip is killing me!
I know my joints are sore because I am carrying my self differently as I lose weight. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have this problem for now instead of my old problem of everything hurting because of having too much weight on them.
I put a call into the WLS clinic and am waiting for a call back, but you all come up with some of the best stuff too, so I thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks!

Definitely ask your clinic for their advice, but for me - I was told that when my knee pain was more than Tylenol could touch, it was okay to take Advil liqui-gels as they are not as harsh in the pouch as the other forms/tablets.
So I did, and usually, one liqui-gel would do the trick. But you should always take the advice of your program above all else.

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
contact your physician to find out what is safe to take. You can get a prescription for an anti-inflamm if you need it...
I take Tylenol fast acting liqui-gels... I haven't had to use anything else thankfully.. and yes.. as you lose you will get aches and pains and I remember a point where my whole body was sore as I carried my weight differently.. Now I walk like a normal person again!
