Sorry to throw this in here, but what kind of Vacuum do you use?  I have boughten a new one every year for 3 years and they wear out.  I vacuum at least 2-3 times day beings I do daycare, so just wanna know if you know of a good one that will last longer...........

Thanks,

Sarsha

I have a Dyson and really like it.  Not the ball kind, it's the animal model even though I don't have any animals!

I bought a Hoover with a bag about a year ago.. I got tired of the wind tunnel type of bagless vacuums because they did not having enough suck power to them and dealing with taking them apart to get to the fliters that clogged up..
I have never had a vacuum that sucks stuff up as well as this one, it often times sucks too hard! It's really powerful and light, & it was under $100 & the bags are easy to put on ... I love Dyson's too I just can't afford one! ha!

I really love my Oreck - light and easy to use, 10 year warrantee, annual check-ups.  The only thing i DON'T like is the lack of on-board attachments.  You buy the upright, and get a canister with it for furniture and stairs, etc.  But I really do like it.

I got a Kenmore from Sears and I love it!! (although I do not vacuum near as much as you do!!) It was rated at the top in Consumer Reports, which my husband lives by! :)

Good luck in your quest!

We invested ($600) in a Simplicity brand and we love it. My sister ended up buying one, too, based on our positive experience and she has a golden retriever dog and it gets all the hair up. I know that's not quite the same as kid food, etc. but close! LOL

My advice is to find a reputable vacuum store near you (the mom & pop kind) and talk to them about your specific flooring (hardwood, vinyl, ceramic tile, etc.) and the kind of traffic you have daily. They're sure to recommend a great machine for you!

We've owned our Simplicity for 4 years and have only had annual maintenance service done on it, which is free for the first 5 years. We went through Cliff's in Cambridge, MN - total opposite end of the earth from you, but just in case you're ever in that area. He's wonderful!

Happy shopping!
