Guilty Pleasures
In 3 years, this board has never been so slow - pretty much steady conversation, 7 days/week. I wish I could identify what's changed and fix it - I've NEVER seen a most recent post being 9 hours old!!!
So hopefully, to stir things up a bit (?!) I pose this question. Yes, it's been asked before, but humor me...
Post-ops; Fess up, what is your favorite "guilty pleasure" since losing weight?
Pre-ops; What "guilty pleasure" you anticipate looking forward to once you lose your weight?
Mine - At the risk of boring people who have already heard me mention this, I just can't help myself. Every day, it THRILLS ME to walk around and feel my legs NOT touch each other!!! I never even CONSIDERED that possibility - and I LOVE IT!!! Even when I'm brushing my teeth or drying my hair, I can't help but notice "the gap" in the mirror - how ridiculous is that?
So - let 'r rip! What's YOUR guilty pleasure?

Guilty pleasure...hmmmm...
Well, since it is to be pleasureable finished off with a twinge of guilt, I think I'm going to say shopping. I have found shopping and figuring out style to be very pleasureable, but I can tend to have some guilt associated with it based on our family budget and determining whether it really is a need or a want. But, heck almighty is it fun to try on just about anything and have it fit vs. walking into a store knowing you're going to have to take an extra dose of your anti-depressant today because you couldn't button your pants again. So, yeah, shopping!

Okay, there is a sort-of down side to the back-fat disappearing... I used to rely on it to keep my bra where I liked it! The bra "girdled" the fat, the fat kept the bra in place. Win-win.
Now that sucker (the bra, that is) slips up at will, and I find myself tugging it back down to where I like it.
TMI for the DUDES on here, but dang... (then again, SCREW the back fat! Ribs are better!)

LMAO! Yeah I know EXACTLY how you feel! I used to joke with my hubby and tell him that I was an F cup in the front and a full C to D in the back.
Now we are sadly lacking in the back and I'm fine with that...just wish they weren't so "tube-sockish" in the front.
Again sorry to the dudes, but what a pain!!
