My WOWs and 100 lbs lost!
I know I am not very good at being on the message board, but I feel this is something I need to share. I went to Disney World with my husband and two children (3 and 7) and my extended family. We took Sun Country down there and if you've ever flown with them, you know it's a little tight seating wise. I am proud to say that not only did I fit in the seat.... I was COMFORTABLE and my seatbelt had plenty of extra room.
The biggest wow for me, though, was that I was able to go on every single ride with my kids. I didn't send my husband and then sit and watch out of fear of not fitting into the rides. I've taken my kids to the Mall of America many times and had other people take them on the rides. I told myself that it didn't bother me, but it did. I had the absolute BEST time at Disney World because I was able to walk from sun up to sun down (and then some) without being tired or in pain from my knee or back. It was the most amazing, incredible experience for me.
In addition to all of that.... I hit the 100 lb mark shortly after we returned. It took me a little over 5 months, but the scale finally moved past the century mark. It was a great feeling, but not nearly as great as being on the rides with my kids at Disney World. That is something that I will NEVER forget.
Thank you for letting me share this with people who "get it". My family and friends are happy for me and are proud, but they don't truly understand how huge this is.

Good for you - made it a much more fun vacation, I'm sure. Life will be fuller for us without the limitations weight put on it! Many congratulations - you are doing great.

WOW, Dianne! Congrats to you on a FANTASTIC job!
I've been following your progress since surgery, as I joined the board just before your big day. How woonderful that this has changed your life and allowed you to LIVE IT the way you should with your family. That was a big motivator for me as well!
Keep it up! TIme for a new profile pic so we can check out your slenderness :o)

I'd say you have a couple of hundred reasons to celebrate! Well done and congratulations! You should be very proud of yourself. You have passed milestones I myself am shooting for. We do Disney every year! Could fit on the rides, but barely! I know next year will be so much better.
So go ahead and pat yourself on the back and enjoy your day!
