The Lodge

Sorry folks, but we just don't have enough commitments to go to the Lodge this year......I needed at least 16 and we only have 13.........

Thanks to all of you that showed interest, it would have been fun......

Maybe a special coffee or shopping day could be planned instead, for those of you that were interested....????

BUMMER..........  I wouldn't have been able to make it even for the day, It is my weekend open and I would have too mny families to have to get back up and my hubby works 2-3 weekends a year and it is always that weekend.  They do the show in the cities.  Maybe we should try something again in spring or early summer...................  Thanks for trying...................

Kelly....I am so sorry to hear this...I was looking foward to us all getting together....bummer!!!

Maybe when it gets warmer there will be more people that will want to get together somewhere.

Just a question.....why don't you do it in the summer, when it's warm & can do outdoor stuff?  Is it hard to book the lodge then? Or do people prefer it in the early spring?

It's not impossible to book in the summer, but they host a lot of camps during the week - so the external reservations do tend to get booked up weekends in the summer.

And it's very rustic...  no AC.  Just sayin'...
