Thanks for all of the great ideas!  I'm going to give them a try.  I am ok with cheese most of the time so refried beans and cheese have been helpful. I had Greek yogurt before surgery but was afraid to try after my episode with milk.  Oh I have found at Byerly's - Lactaid cottage cheese.  I just need to be more diligent about making sure I get the protein in!  Thanks...Donna

There is a blog that I have started to read from begining to end and she has some GREAT recipies-not only for protein shakes and such but ice cream, and foods too. She is also lactose intollerant so she has the lactose free versions of the recipies and she is post RNY.
