I must have set the force in motion...  approx. 2 hours after my post that I was still waiting, I got the call that I was approved.  WOOT-WOOT!  It took exactly 10 business days.  Surgery is set for March 4th.  SO excited and nervous!

im going to meet with dr laguna on march 2nd 2010 for my surgury consultation hopefully they approve me quick....good luck!!!!!! keep me posted

Hey Jenflo!  My surgeon is Dr. Laguna, too.  I had my consult with him on 1/26/10 in the morning.  I got the call from them on 2/9/10 mid-day to say I was approved.  I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield of MN.  BCBS told me that they usually take about 10 business days for approval.  Mine was 11 days including the day of the consult.  I was so anxious!  My surgery is March 4th.  Good luck to you!
