Waiting......

I've spent the past 9 months working on accomplishing the goal of getting approved to have WLS.  I had my last appointment before submitting to the insurance on the Jan 12th.  I called the insurance yesterday and they said they have had the paperwork for 2 days.  I'm getting so stressed out the time can't pass fast enough.  I have BCBS of MN and I hope they approve me.  My BMI is over 40 have completed all their requirements.  The surgeons nurse said as soon as I find out if I'm approved they could get me set up with a date within a week or two. I think I have the patience of a 2 year old!!!! Sorry had to vent!!!

 We've all been there.  It stinks to have to wait.  Just wait, when you get approved it will all move very quickly and before you know it you will be on the Losers Bench.

The waiting is the worst part!

If you call nicely - you can call the insurance "just to check the status" and they will let you know if you are approved over the phone. 

I think I called 3 times in 5 days :)
