1 year surgiversary down 101 pounds ME & Dr. B

Morning!  I had duodenal switch weight loss surgery on 1/20/09 at the U of MN with Henry Buchwald MD PhD.  I am thankful for the DS!  I am thankful to the U of MN for providing this surgery.  There are no surgeons in St. Paul area or Minneapolis area other than this group of surgeons that perform the Duodenal Switch.  For most, they do not even know that this procedure exists.  I just want to share with my fellow Minnesotans that there are other options!  If you choose lap band or RNY that's fine, but don't overlook the duodenal switch as a primary option and for lower BMI's as well! 

I have a body designed by God and altered by Buchwald MD PhD.  I love Jesus.  I SO SO SO Appreciated my DS (AKA:  Duodenal Switch).
