Who's interested in getting together at the lodge this year?

If I get this together, I would need the money up front......And I would do a pot luck or bring your own food....less work for me.....More fun for all...It would be nice to get a head count and the money in 2 weeks. I need at least 16 people paid to set this up, at $30 each.....

This is a WLS fun get together, come meet other peeps, talk, listen to music, dance, play games, enjoy a campfire and staff led program, etc....Fun, Fun, Fun.....
This is open to spouses and significant others as well, or a close friend that has been there for you through your WL journey....
I called Baker, it is $500 for use of Cabins and Lodge, $3.25 a person for a staff led program and 7.275 lodging tax.......

It has been open to anyone in the past, so yes......
It's more expensive this year, so we'll have to see how many would be interested in going before I would book it.....

With prices being higher, It depends on how many go, but it could range from $30-$45 a piece.......

So sorry.....It is an overnight thing......There are 8 cabins which hold 4 ? twin bunk beds in each, and have a wood stove.....Then there is the "Lodge" where everyone gets together and talks, etc.......
Last year we met at noon on Saturday and checked out by 2pm, on Sunday. We had a clothing swap. Had dinner there, kinda a pot luck and visited and listened to music and danced, knitted, whatever we wanted to do.....Some stayed up till the wee hours and some went to bed early.....There was a campfire outside of the lodge.....And we also took the night hike with the staff member...ETC......So much fun.....Then Breakfast in the morning in the lodge......

This can be booked by anyone until they have a deposit of $500, so the sooner I have a head count and about $30 from everyone the better....
For now I'm asking $30, if we don't get 16 people I will refund your money.......
Once the lodge is booked the money is unrefundable.......

No problem....There's still probably a lot I didn't say.....It's just a good time to connect with other OH WLS peeps.....A nice woodsy getaway.....

I just photographed a wedding there on Saturday! It is a beautiful setting especially in the winter :) I won't be able to go as I am shooting weddings on those Saturdays. I could e-mail a few pictures to someone if they wanted to see what it was like. Beautiful setting ;) and relaxing as there are no TV's and computers!
