Don't know why I didn't think of this sooner in my WLS career ....

I found Oregon Sugar Free Chai Tea mix at Cub and I made a Whipped Vanilla Lean Dessert Protein Shake and mixed the chai mix with it - YUM!  A Chai Latte with 20g of protein.

Just wanted to share!

How do you heat it up,before or after you add the protein mix ?.

Actually - i heated up the chai mix - then added my protein stuff (mixed 1 scoop with 8oz water) - wasn't hot enough so I nuked it in the microwave again - ended up with 16oz chai latte.

What kind of protein powder do you use? I still can't find one I like enough to drink but I am always open to trying new brands. Thanks.

I use Lean Dessert (made by BSN).  I like the vanilla, chocolate fudge, and cinnamon roll.  I order either from supplement warehouse.com or vitacost.com - good deals on it - about 1/2 price of GNC.

Also - i have learned the sugar-free coffee syrups (also ordered from supplement warehouse) can really help add flavor to the shakes.

I usually mix the protein shakes with more water than it says on the package  - I hate the thickness that makes it feel like you are drinking pudding or cake batter. So package says 4-6 oz water - I usually do 8oz and then mix in syrup and my coffee and have either a hot or cold latte.

also found these two blogs that gives good ideas on shakes too:
