Support groups near new ulm?
I had Duodenal Switch on the 29th of dec and was invited to join a support group up near the cities, however . . . I can't afford to drive to the cities for meetings. I realize I may not find a DS support group around here but is there a wls support group open to most people?
I want to do this right and I want to have people to talk to and get advice from in real life and not just on a computer screen.

We have a WLS support group in Mankato if that works for you. Let me know if that works for you or you want more info.

I believe there is a group that meets at the clinic/hospital. Call them and check on the day and time. I have been very private about having my surgery so I didn't want to go to that one since I know alot of people in New Ulm. Good luck to you!!
This has been the best decision besides marriage and kids that I have ever made!!
Redwood Falls area might have something too. It is about the same distance as Mankato.
