Just wondering if I am the only one that thinks this but....... When I was bigger It seemed like I was always sick with something.  Since losing 140lbs  It seems like I am never  sick.  I have not even had a cold.  Why is this?  Was being sick just in my head?  Weird huh.

So what do you think????????

Have a great week everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple weeks ago I was thinking the same thing and then last week out of no where I got a cold/flu bug. Although I did notice that I felt much better after just a couple days instead of 4-5 days of typically being down and out. Everyone is telling me I am too thin (what a weird thing) so than I wonder if my body is run down or am I healthy and those others don't know what they're talking about!!

This has been the best decision besides marriage and kids that I have ever made!!

You are not run down they say you are to thin because they are not used to seeing you like this.  To them we look to thin.  I think you look fricken fabulous...... I love your new Picture.......Keep up the great work........................

Marsha - I believe that if you are more fit and healthy, your body can more easily fight off illness.  You are a good example of that.  It doesn't mean you're totally immune, you just have more to fight it off than you used to - isn't that great?

We're also taking a ton of supplements that I'm sure are good for us... probably helps our immune system fight off things better? or heal faster?

Yeah, I noticed this quite a while ago myself.   I used to battle a nasty case of bronchitis pretty much every year around Thanksgiving time.   I mean, NASTY - miss up to 4 days of work nasty.

Since WLS?  I had a bit of the sniffles once... not enough to stay home for, but that was about it.  I've been giving credit for it to the vitamins.  Never used to take them, now I rarely miss a day.

I guess when we did this to get healthy, we didn't realize how MANY ways it would improve our health!!!

YAY WLS!!!
