Vanish is on the Losers Bench!
Just a quick update. my sister Tess... otherwise known as Vanish... had her surgery this morning 12/28 and it went very well. Poor tess is having a tough time recovering with lots of pain and nausea. She is at Fairview being well taken care of by their great staff.
I will pass along anything you care to pass on to her.

So glad the surgery went well!!!! I sure hope the pain and nausea is under control now! That is no fun at all....I know from experience! UGH!

The initial recovery might be less than fabulous, but I could name several people who have had seriously difficult, even SCARY starts to their WLS journey, who would do it all again in a heartbeat - even if they KNEW what they'd go through. It's that worth it.
Tess - you are in my prayers, as is Kevin, for a journey that you, too, would put yourself through again! It IS worth it!
