I got my date scheduled today!!

Woo Hoo!  I am having lapband surgery on January 6th!!!  I can't believe it is finally going to happen.  I feel like I have been waiting forever.  I'm so excited!  I think knowing that I am having surgery right after the holidays will help me control my eating (especially at Christmas).  I'm going to be on the bench soon....YEAH!!
Thank you everyone for your support and for providing such great information and inspiring stories!  You all are the best!

Congrats on getting a date!   Dr. Pierce will be doing my surgery on that very same day!  Good luck over the holidays.  It will be here before we know it!

hi cgoeltl!  that is cool!  My surgery is at 1:30.  what time is yours?  Maybe we could take a jaunt in the halls together...ha ha!  Congrats to you!  I'm very excited for us both!  Do you ever go to the support group meetings?

My surgery is at 10:30 a.m.  We probably will be roaming the halls together.  It will be interesting.  I haven't ever been to the support groups, I need to go but I live in North Branch so it's kindof a long way for me.  I need to find one closer to home.  Let's home Dr. Pierce gets a good night sleep and is on the ball for our surgeries.  Do you have to go to the meeting before surgery?  I'm going on the 29th.  We will have to keep in touch.

Hi Lisa!  I do have to stay over night.  I have sleep apnea so they won't allow me to leave same day.  What time is your surgery?  I might be gone but if not we-- you, cgoeltl, and I could take a little jaunt together in the halls....wouldn't that be a hoot!  Congrats to you!  It is going to be here so quick.  Do you ever go to the support group meetings?
